A separate Peninsula outing includes the selected Cape Point and Boulders visits, while a Winelands excursion day introduces the Winelands without any driving after tastings. The programme keeps arrival and departure days light and names the proposed ground operator and activity providers for practical supplier contact. It can be attached to a Namibia journey once regional flights and luggage allowances are checked, but that air link is outside the base package. The order can change because wind and cloud sometimes close the cableway. A city and heritage alternative keeps the day worthwhile if the mountain is unavailable. Explore the agreed city highlights with your guide, allowing context rather than a hurried list of photo stops. Heritage, food and architecture can be tailored to your interests. A Bo-Kaap visit should respect residents and private property, with consent for close photographs of people. 03Day 3Cape Peninsula: coast, Cape Point and penguinsSpend a full day on the Cape Peninsula with the local operator as the proposed ground operator. The final route can include Cape Point and Boulders, with scenic coastal stops where time, traffic and weather permit. This is a road-based day rather than a long hiking expedition. Visit the Cape Point area with enough time for the selected viewpoints and a meal break. Walking distances can be adapted to the party; the outline does not require a strenuous summit walk or assume that every visitor wants the same viewpoint. Park admission and any funicular ticket are separate unless listed in the package. Follow the guide and keep food secure around local wildlife.

Boulders penguins and the return

Visit the designated Boulders viewing area and follow the boardwalk and wildlife rules. Penguins are wild, so behaviour and viewing positions vary, and there is no touching or close posing. Return to Cape Town with a margin for traffic. Any extra stop must fit the operator’s schedule rather than turn the day into a late rush. Dinner is free time unless a specific booking has been added.

04Day 4Franschhoek Winelands: a day without drivingTravel by prebooked dedicated transfer to Franschhoek and join the selected Wine Tram experience.
