12 Day Cape Town and Namibia Dunes and Coast

Pair Cape Town and the Winelands with Namibia's desert, Atlantic coast and granite mountains. A regional flight joins the two countries, giving each destination useful time instead of a rushed long overland drive.

Your journey

This combination follows a common Southern Africa pattern: enjoy Cape Town first, then fly into Namibia for a separate road journey. Three nights at a central Cape Town hotel allow time for the Peninsula and a flexible city or mountain day, while a Franschhoek overnight makes the Winelands experience more relaxed. A confirmed regional flight connects Cape Town to Windhoek, followed by a city night for the vehicle handover and supplies. The Namibia portion then gives two nights near Sossusvlei, two in Swakopmund and one in Erongo before the final Windhoek buffer. Named South African partners include African Eagle for touring and transfers, a Winelands excursion for the selected experience, and La Fontaine for the village stay. The proposal does not claim that tram tickets include every tasting or that Table Mountain operates in every weather condition. Accommodation, flight days, admissions and meals are checked and itemized. Etosha is deliberately not squeezed into this twelve-day route; it is best added with more time if wildlife is a main priority.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cape Town to Namibian overland drive?

This itinerary combines the destinations using a quoted flight sector. It does not present the long road distance between Cape Town and Windhoek as a short transfer.

Can we change the Cape Town activities?

Yes. The peninsula, city and wine programme can be tailored with the local operator. Weather, tickets and your interests help determine the final order.

Can I use one rental vehicle in both countries?

The proposed local transport and Namibia rental are separate arrangements. A cross-border one-way rental would need a different quotation and written vehicle authorization.

Are the named properties and services confirmed?

They are proposed selections for your journey. Availability, exact room or camping category, activities and meal basis are confirmed in your written quotation before booking.
